Only 97 players went under the hammer during the IPL2022 mega-auction on the opening day in place of the scheduled 161 but there was a great deal of excitement for all ten franchises. A total of 74 players were sold – out of which 20 were overseas – with 3,88,10,00,000 being the winning bid.
The Indian duo of Ishan Kishan and Deepak Chahar stole the show, as both reacquired star players with jaw-dropping amounts. Mumbai Indians purchased 23 year old Kishan for a staggering *15.25 crore, while Chennai Super Kings bought the former in a fierce bidding war.
Here is a list of all players who were sold on Day 1 of the Tata IPL auction 2022.

While Dhawan made some big gains, Australian Test captain Pat Cummins was sold for half the price compared to last year’s auction. India’s flamboyant batsman Shreyas Iyer has been won by Kolkata Knight Riders and it is also expected that he may also be given the responsibility of captaincy.
Shikhar Dhawan:
The senior opener waged a fierce bidding war. Dhawan, who scored 587 runs in 16 IPL matches last year, was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 8.25 crore. Hey Guys, what to call this, it’s not a competition, but it is a big explosion between the Yellow Army and the Red Army. And we can also say that this match is between the new captain Virat Kholi and the old caption of the India team MS Dhoni (Thala). But it is visible that the scales are up of the yellow team i.e. Chennai Super Kings. And this match will be played between RCB Vs CSK at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah on Friday. You can see here every match-related information and here RCB Vs CSK Dream11 & MPL match prediction is shown below. Look through your eyes and win crores of rupees.
The performance of both the teams has been almost good this season. Because where CSK is at number two in the points table of IPL 14, Royal Challengers Bangalore is also just below it at number three. It will be interesting to see that on one side there is Dhoni, Faf du Plessis, Raina, then there are dangerous players like Virat Kohli, de Villiers, Maxwell. The balance of both the teams is very good in the batting order but when it comes to bowling, Chennai wins in this. Because he has experienced bowlers like Josh Hazlewood, Bravo, Deepak Chahar, Ravindra Jadeja.
What do you think, which team will win this match? Yellow Army (Chennai Super Kings) or Rad Army (Royal Challengers Bangalore), you can tell us in the comment box. Let’s see if your opinion and that of the experts are similar or different. Have a fun comment soon.

The season, the time of the year which India waits for the most when the cricket fans are filled with enthusiasm and cricketers from every part of the world participate in it. The IPL (Indian Premier League) is here. As the league approaches the teams have decided their members for which a certain kind of auctioning process takes place every year deciding the fate of the Indian and foreign players participating in the league.
The auction is very unpredictable. There might be chances that a newbie gets a deal for a million-dollar whereas a professional proven international performer goes unsold. Though the auction process is a few-day work, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes for months.
Teams discuss and complete the pre-auction analysis and work on the strategy to be employed during the auction. The budget left, the kind of player required, the international commitment of the players, their equation with the coach, everything matters when a franchise decides to bid for a player.
Vivo IPL 2021 Auction Date and Time List:
The auction will begin on February 18 2021, in Chennai. TheVivo IPL 2021 Player Auction list is out with a total of 292 cricketers set to go under the hammer in Chennai on February 18th, 2021. 1114 cricketers had initially registered for the auction. The final list was cut after eight franchises submitted a shortlist of players.
