The first round of the 2022 IPL auction has come to an end, with three bowlers paying more than Rs 10 crore. Ishan Kishan became the second most valuable Indian player in IPL history, just after Yuvraj Singh and the fourth most valuable player of all time. Shreyas Iyer went to Kolkata for Rs 12.25 crore and got the second highest sale today. The auction will resume tomorrow at 12 noon.

Tata IPL 2022 Mega Auction Sold Players List:

The mega auction for IPL 2022 has started in Bangalore where all 10 teams are betting on players. The fortunes of 600 players are at stake in this year’s auction. Senior opener Shikhar Dhawan was ranked first in the list of marquee players and hence got a huge advantage!

While Dhawan made some big gains, Australian Test captain Pat Cummins was sold for half the price compared to last year’s auction. India’s flamboyant batsman Shreyas Iyer has been won by Kolkata Knight Riders and it is also expected that he may also be given the responsibility of captaincy.

Shikhar Dhawan:

The senior opener waged a fierce bidding war. Dhawan, who scored 587 runs in 16 IPL matches last year, was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 8.25 crore. Dhawan had entered the auction with a base price of 2 crores. Earlier, he was part of the Delhi Capitals team, where he was getting a fee of Rs 5.2 crore. Dhawan got a profit of 3.05 crores in the annual salary of IPL.

R Ashwin:

The veteran spinner has also started a bidding war in this year’s auction. He had entered the auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore. He was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 5 crore. The off-spinner was earlier associated with Delhi Capitals.

Pat Cummins:

Kolkata Knight Riders successfully retained the Star Speedster for Rs 7.25 crore. Cummins had entered the auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore. In the last auction, KKR bought Cummins for a whopping bid of Rs 15 crore 50 lakh.

Kaggio Rabada:

The African pacer, who played for Delhi Capitals last year, has now been bought by Punjab Kings for a whopping bid of Rs 9.25 crore.

Trent Boult:

The former key bowler of Mumbai Indians’ infamous bowling attack will now be seen bowling for Rajasthan Royals this season. RR inducts Kiwi Speedster for Rs 8 cr.

Shreyi Iyer:

This season the star batsman was expected to get a huge amount and the same was seen in today’s auction. After some acrimonious bidding, Kolkata Knight Riders included him in their team by paying Rs 12.25 crore.

Mohammed Shami :

The right-arm star fast bowler has been bought by Gujarat Titans in the IPL 15 mega auction. The franchise paid Rs 6.25 crore for Shami. The senior speedster had entered the auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore. If we look at Shami’s IPL career so far, he has taken 79 wickets in 79 IPL matches.

David Warner:

Warner entered the IPL auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore. Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals are engaged in a bidding war for him. The left-handed Australian batsman was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 6.25 crore.

Faf du Plessis:

After a bidding war, Faf was eventually acquired by Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB bought the South African giant for Rs 7 crore. Faf, ending a long association with MS Dhoni-led CSK, has now joined RCB.

Quinton de Kock:

One of the most valuable wicket keeper in the IPL auction, Quinton de Kock has been bought by Lucknow Supergiants for Rs 6.75 crore. De Kock was part of Mumbai Indians for the last three seasons.
